Ken Brook, the  company's president, has a B.Sc. and an M. Sc. in geology and has been working in mineral exploration since 1969 for Cominco American in Tucson, Arizona exploring for porphyry copper and massive sulfide deposits before joining BHP-Utah in Reno as a Senior Exploration Geologist to start their Western US gold program.  Geological consulting work began in 1977 for major and junior mining companies, and Ken’s recognition of significant business opportunities resulted in Franco Nevada’s acquisition of the Post-Goldstrike royalty and  Addington Resources’ operation of the Kendall, Montana gold mine.  Ken has served as the President of a junior resource company and in 2006 negotiated the successful merger of his private mineral exploration company with Nevoro, Inc. a TSX listed company.  He was VP Exploration for Nevoro until November, 2008 and provided the requisite project presentations to Nevoro’s board and Toronto financing groups.                            

Ken is a registered professional geologist (RPG) in California and Arizona, a Certified Professional Geologist (AIPG), and is recognized as a "Qualified Person" by the Toronto Stock  Exchange.  Consulting assignments for project management and the evaluation of base and precious metal deposits have been completed in the U.S., Australia and Mexico.
